Excerpts from interview with the Santa Fe "New Mexican" 1998

Jennifer's pictorial style began during her filmmaking studies; she claims to have been
influenced by the visual poetry of the Hollywood silent and golden eras. Her painterly
images are an emotional and sensual viewing experience.

Along with being a creative and stylized printer, Jennifer's led a varied and accomplished photographic life. She's worked as a freelance commercial photographer for many years. She's also spent several years as a "photo assistant" in San Francisco and in the photo business in Los Angeles before moving to Santa Fe in 1992.

Jennifer taught photography at Vanderbilt University for two years and has been invited
to guest-lecture at several photography schools.

Jennifer won the 1st Place award from the APA (Advertising Photographers of America) for "Personal Work" in 1990. She's also won awards from Kodak and Illford. Jennifer has exhibited in California, Tennessee and New Mexico and has been privately collected for over a decade.
